Rather than assessing a facial line in isolation, Ellen considers how the surrounding muscles move and how different areas of the face interact during expression.The aim of the consultation is to understand what is contributing to your concern before discussing whether management is appropriate.

UNDERSTANDING MOUTH POSITION, LOWER-FACE MOVEMENT & FACIAL EXPRESSION

The position and appearance of the corners of the mouth naturally vary between individuals and can be influenced by facial anatomy, muscle activity and changes that occur over time.

For some people, the corners of the mouth may appear downturned at rest or become more noticeable during facial expression. This can influence the overall appearance of the lower face.
